Cosette Kosiba

Born and raised in the city of Chicago, I spent the majority of my years in Illinois and now reside in the lovely state of Florida.

Art has always been part of my life.   Although there have been a few detours along the way, I’ve never strayed far from the path.  I now have the pleasure of returning.  It feels like coming home.

My formal training in art education provided a broad introduction to a variety of media.  Watercolor & acrylic painting was my initial focus, until I found & fell in love with pastel.

I’ve had the pleasure & good fortune to study pastel with Julie Skoda, Kathleen Newman, Jean Hirons, Joanna Karpay, Jacob Aguiar, Nancy King Mertz and Richard McKinley.
